Dennis "Denny" Green is a former American football head coach. During his professional career, Green coached the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals.
Green's best season in Minnesota was in 1998, when the record-setting Vikings finished 15–1 and set the NFL record for most points in a season . However, they lost in the NFC Championship Game, 30-27 to the Atlanta Falcons. Despite compiling a record of 97–62 in the regular season, Green was unable to reach the Super Bowl.
