James Q. Wilson in Denver, Colorado is the Ronald Reagan professor of public policy at the Pepperdine School of Public Policy in California, and a professor emeritus at UCLA. From 1961 to 1987 he was a professor of government at Harvard University. He has a Ph.D. and masters degree from the University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree from the University of Redlands where he was the national collegiate debate champion in 1951 and 1952.
