Jim Roy Gillette is an American singer, notable for being the frontman of glam metal band Nitro. In the 1980s, he was a member of the band Tuff. He frequently shattered crystal goblets with the sound of his voice, using audio amplification, as part of his act. He is married to singer Lita Ford. He has a range of over 6 octaves, and on the record "O.F.R.", he was able to hold a Soprano high B note for 30 seconds, whilst sliding between a high A and G# in full voice. Jim released a vocal training video and accompanying tape for practicing vocals. This came out in 1993 through Metal Method Productions and is entitled Vocal Power.
