John Marcellus Huston was an American Academy Award-winning film director and actor. He was known for directing several classic films, The Maltese Falcon , The Asphalt Jungle , The Treasure of the Sierra Madre , Key Largo , The African Queen , The Misfits , and The Man Who Would Be King . He was the son of actor Walter Huston and the father of actress Anjelica Huston and director Danny Huston.
