Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Yevtushenko is a Russian poet. He also directed several films. Reportedly, before the appearance of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Andrei Sakharov and the dissident movement in Russia, Yevtushenko, through his poetry, was the first voice to speak out against Stalinism.
