“It's easy for me to establish an immediate rapport with riders ? I can hop in the pipe and ride, I've been there before. I do it for the same reason they do: the love of the sport. My goals are the same as theirs. I want for them what they want for themselves and that's the best that they can do.”

“I'm looking forward to this end part of the season, ... Riding the bike in Japan for a factory Honda rider is a real honour. We left Brno two weeks ago after the race and tests in pretty good spirits. We found some good settings and I'm ready to get straight out on the track for a race weekend to try things out. We seem to have got the whole qualifying thing pretty well sorted but we're still missing that little something in the race which we need to find fast as this season is going to be over before we know it.”
Nicky Hayden
“`Pipe a song about a Lamb!' / So I piped with merry cheer.”
William Blake
“They introduced all the riders with a new production, ... Tyler Evans drove in a Ferrari. Another rider ? an [ambulance] came with the siren on and then these two EMS guys got out? pulled out a gurney, there was a white sheet and the guy sat up and waved. It was playing on the danger a little bit. Another guy rode in on a big, fat chopper? really long, like one of those American Choppers . So there's a big production and then that guy's voice [imitates supercross voice]. It's very epic.”

“When I first retired, I just needed to keep active, so I started coaching riders. But then (Ride for Red founders) Joanne and Kevin (Gulliver) contacted me about coming here, and I started speaking a few times a year.”
Kevin Livingston
“I don't know, we'll have to see. Daniel's (Ramsey) riding well and we have some other good riders … I'm not as consistent — I know that. But beyond that, I don't really know. I haven't been tested on any real climbs. I'm as much of a question mark as anyone out here.”
Drew Miller
“About 95 percent of skateboarders worldwide are not vert riders. They don't have vert ramps around. It's easier to ride the streets.”
