“I expected them to drive to the hoop. I think it might have been one of those instances where they were young kids and they have not been here before and they tensed up a little and took those 3-pointers. But, you look at that team and they are so well coached. My guys didn't mind being on defense at the end and I think they were confident and comfortable because they had been in that situation before. The experience of being in the championship game before definitely paid off for us.”

“Life ain't more than gameboard spaceWith hoops to jump and dreams to chaseAnd one day fate'll put us all in our placeGoing going goneAnd one day God might come on backWith a summer tan and a CadillacTime, he'll laugh, why I just lost trackWhat else could he really say?”
Christine Anderson
“I think we did a good job rebounding and pushing up the floor. We got some easy hoops in transition and we did a good job defensively.”
Mike Spisto
“Jordan is one of the better freshmen I've seen. He can shoot outside and he can drive to the hoop. Heath did a great job today, too.”
Harry Bowser
“Hoop has just been an inspiration, especially for myself. He always has a positive attitude. I think a lot of guys who get upset if they're not playing a lot can really learn from that.”
Dan Oppland
“The hoop Brandi got by taking it hard to the lane was not only a momentum builder, but one of her finest moves at Oregon. She took it up, got the contact, made the basket, hit the floor hard and got the free throw.”
Bev Smith
“I don't think they're on the ball as much and are so willing to jump through the hoops to make things happen so quickly.”
